John Woodall is Vice President & Field CTO focused on hybrid cloud at General Datatech, LP (GDT) and lives in San Jose, California. John has more than 30 years of experience in technology and a background focused on enterprise and infrastructure architecture, large scale systems engineering, strategic planning, and technology management. In these roles, John has designed, implemented, and has led teams delivering complex systems in demanding, mission-critical large-scale, enterprise and cloud environments. At GDT, John focuses on delivering engineering led solutions to customers, strategic direction, evaluating emerging technologies, trends, and practices to enable customers to accelerate their transformations and the modernization of their technical and operational models.
Prior to joining GDT, John held executive, architecture and management roles at Integrated Archive Systems, Symantec, Solectron (now part of Flex), Madge Networks and Elsevier MDL.

BWG Strategy is a research platform that provides market intelligence through Event Services, Business Development initiatives, and Market Research services. Brandon Curry has worked as an expert in the Information Technology industry for more than 25 years. During this time, he has held a variety of roles ranging from strategic sales and post-sales account management to operations and solution architecture, on both the IT and network sides of the Managed Services Provider and IT Outsourcing business. Mr. Curry brings a unique, out-of-the-box perspective to problem-solving, technology strategies and customer solutions. He joined GDT in 2022 after working as a leader in several globally and nationally focused Managed Services Providers (MSPs).
Mr. Curry is a strong believer in continuous education and is a thought leader in new technologies and market trends. He holds an Associate of Science degree in pre-medicine from the University of Kentucky, a Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Masters of Science in Security and IT Assurance from Carnegie Mellon University. He has earned many advanced-level certifications such as Cisco CCIE (#7895), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CIISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). In addition, Mr. Curry is a member of the (ISC)2 National and Chicago chapters, as well as, a member of the Global IT Architects Association.

Andrew Nelson is an architect and technologist with a broad skill set across the data center and cloud landscape. He has over 30 years of experience across varied industries both as a client and an integrator. Andrew is passionate about transformative projects that adopt cutting edge technology and drive significant and tangible business value to GDT’s clients. Edge Computing, IoT, AI/ML, Containers, Automation, Data Protection and SDWAN/SASE are some of the topics at the top of his mind as well as all the technology to support those efforts. As a Principal Architect, Andrew helps shape GDT’s transformation strategy and efforts in an ever-changing IT landscape.
