BIO

Mr. Brennan is a military veteran, experienced entrepreneur and investment banker with a strong record of results-driven business execution and deal making, which includes twenty-five years of experience in strategy, corporate / business development, sales and marketing management, international business while deploying software, services and devices. Jim has successfully led three turn-around projects; founded several companies; led the acquisition or sale of numerous companies; managed the team at a Fortune 500 company which successfully delivered more than 300 technology projects, led the deployment of 200 teammates in the US Air Force; launched several mobile computing products; has been quoted in many trade publications; currently sits on the board of multiple firms and has been awarded a US Patent. To date, Jim has negotiated hundreds of deals domestically and has worked on projects in Japan, Singapore, India, England, Germany, Austria, France and Poland.

Jim is currently immersed in the renewable energy market with the launch of multiple new companies. Mr. Brennan has earned a Masters of Business Administration (Finance) degree from New York University and a Bachelors of Science (Electrical Engineering) degree at Cornell University. Last, but far from least, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and four very active sons.

Mr. Chaimanis is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure (KSI), a private investment firm that owns and operates distributed scale clean-energy, water and other sustainable infrastructure projects. In 2005, Mr. Chaimanis began working in clean energy finance, which represents the nexus of his business interests with his passion for making a positive impact. Mr. Chaimanis regularly advises clean energy startups, and consults with investors looking to understand the clean energy investment landscape. He has been featured in the 2014 Journal of Environmental Investing “Most Influential Investors” edition, interviewed by Institutional Investing in Infrastructure I3 Magazine, recorded on the Solar Maverick podcast, and is the author of an energy investment business case. Mr. Chaimanis speaks frequently on the topic of clean energy finance and is an adjunct faculty member at Babson College.

Cinnamon Solar is a local Silicon Valley residential contractor with a heritage of over 10,000 rooftop solar installations. Barry founded Westinghouse Solar/Akeena Solar (the first national scale residential installer), is a C-46 solar contractor, is active with SEIA and CALSEIA, and is the host of the weekly Energy Show on KLIV radio and Renewable Energy World.
