Shane has always been fascinated by and mentored digital businesses and, since early 2012, has been fortunate enough to be part of one of the most successful digital businesses in Europe.

Having been CFO for Skyscanner for more than four years Shane recently moved to the US to head up their Americas operation.

As an entertainment industry veteran of Broadcast, Cable, Local and Digital Media, Joanne has lead research and digital departments guiding business strategy for Television Rep firms, Syndication, Network and Nielsen Media.

She began her career at Group W Television Representatives where she inaugurated the program research department, servicing sales and programming for the rep group as well as their owned and operated stations.

At the brink of the first-run syndication business Joanne joined LBS to run the research department where she ushered in computerization for data analysis and support of sales, marketing, publicity, programing and finance.

Disney lured her out West Coast to head research for Buena Vista syndication, which also supported Sr Corporate Management. Some the projects Joanne took part in were the “Repeal of Fin Syn” for the FCC filing and proposal to David Letterman to join Disney.

Nielsen Media Research took Joanne away from the entertainment side to run their syndication business where she restructured the division to better meet changing client needs, along with growing revenue and building new product lines for the company.

CBS brought Joanne back into the entertainment fold to build the research department for their new syndication unit. There Joanne brought the company into the digital generation by developing and marketing their first program websites. She also started up their cross-promotion and advertiser sponsorship unit. When CBS merged with King World Joanne authored the report submitted to the government for approval of the merger, and then presented the report before the DOJ.

Currently Joanne heads up Research and New Media for 20th TV, Fox helping set the strategic course for linear and digital platforms, providing insights, innovation and implementation for program content and promotion. As well, Joanne heads up research and all digital platforms for MyNetworkTV.

Joanne is a charter member of Nielsen’s CRE (Council for Research Excellence) involved in various extensive industry studies and recently joined BGW Strategy on the board of advisers. Media Week had voted Joanne one of the entertainment industry’s "Top 50 Most Indispensable Executives".
