Geoff has extensive experience as a Dealer Principal and General Manager and has been recognized as one of the industry’s top Used Vehicle professionals. Geoff owned and operated new vehicle franchises for 5 years in Houston, TX before selling them to a major dealer group in 2005.
His educational credentials include Johns Hopkins Universityas well as various Leadership Development training programs.

Joel Hoffmann is a seasoned professional with over 30 years experience developing new markets, with heavy focus on automotive software and open collaboration concepts in the Connected Car segment. He is currently serving clients such as Renesas Electronics and Open Mobile Alliance who rely on him as a direct representative of their organizations in the automotive segment.
Previously, he served for 14 years as Automotive Strategist for the Intel Automotive Solutions Division where he successfully launched and grew GENIVI Alliance, as Director of Marketing and Intel representative to the Board.

Mark has been in the automobile business since pumping gas while in high school, experiencing first hand the first OPEC oil embargo. After a short stint at Temple University, he transferred to Lincoln Technical Institute. After graduating he spent five years at a Philadelphia Highline service company working on Ferraris, Maseratis, and Porsches. He was also part of their endurance race team crew competing in races such as the 24 hours of Daytona, 12 hours of Sebring, and Watkins Glen 6 hour.
In 1979 he opened his own Foreign car service company in Center City Philadelphia, closing 38 years later in 2016. Over the years it added a retail sales, and auto body component. The sales division evolved into primarily a wholesale company moving to Manheim Pennsylvania, home to what has become the largest Auto wholesale auction in the world as well as the flagship of Manheim Auto’s 100+ auctions. Along with the wholesale operation, he added two retail locations as well as an Auction Management Company representing new car dealers at Manheim Pennsylvania and Manheim Baltimore auto auctions. This extends to all aspects of inventory management and reconditioning.
Dr. Alan Messer has been a worldwide leader in advanced software and intelligent services for connected consumers for 20+ years. Currently he is working on a stealth startup, but previously Alan was Vice President of Software and Innovation and CTO of Global Connected Consumer eXperience at General Motors where he led GM’s work on products, platforms and future technologies for the Connected Car and Services. Before General Motors, Alan was Vice President of Advanced Software Technology at Samsung Electronics covering Internet of Things, Intelligence, Privacy, Mobile Social/Media, Content Delivery, and Cloud Services. Alan has also worked at a variety of other consumer electronics companies including HP, Sony Electronics and startups. Alan has also served with several industry organizations in advisor and board roles as well as working with analysts/media.

Dr. Russo currently serves as a Founder & Chairman of San Jose based GEO Semiconductor (www.geosemi.com). He served as CEO through 2014. GEO was founded in 2008 to acquire certain assets of Silicon Optix. He is the Chairman & CEO of Peekaboo (www.peekaboo.com), a stealth-mode re-broadcasting company and Chairman of Dynamount, a robotic microphone mount company(www.dynamount.com). He also serves as a Board Director of Teslonix (www.teslonix.com) an early stage next generation RFID company, SnapDNA, a unique early stage DNA platform company initially focused on food safety, and Woo Sports, an early stage company focused on the gameification of extreme sports like kite boarding and wake boarding, where active boarders from around the world can compete via advanced cloud-based apps.
Prior to founding GEO, Dr. Russo Founded Silicon Optix in 2000, a privately held fabless semiconductor company, serving as Chairman & CEO through 2008. Prior to Silicon Optix, Dr. Russo was the founder, Chairman and CEO of Genesis Microchip the world leader in video scaler semiconductor devices for flat panel displays through 2000, including its successful NASDAQ IPO in 1998 where it’s market cap reached several billion dollars. Genesis was acquired by ST Micro in 2007.
Prior to founding Genesis, he was General Manager of GE's Microelectronics Center in RTP, Senior Manager in GE's Industrial Electronics Group in Charlottesville, and Head, Microsystems Research at RCA's David Sarnoff Research Center in Princeton. At RCA, Dr. Russo’s activities include the development of the world’s first programmable video game system, the first CMOS microprocessor, the first auto ignition microprocessor controller, and, one year prior to the advent of the IBM PC, his group had developed a prototype home computer very similar to the successful IBM product – but RCA management rejected entering this new market!
Dr. Russo received his B. Eng. from McGill University and his MSc and PhD in EECS from UC Berkeley. His PhD thesis was on the computer analysis of electronic circuits, which gave birth to the commonly used Spice modeling software in wide use to this day. He holds eight U.S. patents, has published extensively in his earlier years, is a Fellow of the IEEE and has received numerous RCA and industry awards, including the IEEE Centennial Medal and the 2006 Tech Pioneer Award from the World Economic Forum. He served as an outside director of ATI Technologies from 2001 through its acquisition by AMD in late 2006, as well as numerous private venture funded start-ups acquired by public entities (e.g., RocketChips - acquired by Xilinx, Atmos - acquired by MoSys, where he also served on the board of MoSys). He is an active angel investor having done in excess of 50 investments during past decades.
